“When vying for the spotlight
takes to the streets”
The Streetlight Series is a recurring film showcase series of Michigan & Michigander made art that features the work of filmmakers, production companies and musicians. The program opens with approximately 90 minutes of film content from the categories of short narrative films, short documentary films, feature film trailers, music videos, art house commercial advertisements and more. Following a short intermission, musicians take the stage to close out the night with some amazing performances. It’s an exclusive opportunity to rub elbows with some of Michigan’s best and brightest professional filmmakers in a casual setting , and to enjoy some exciting projects created right here in our home state. There is a Michigan grassroots indie film movement in the making!
This event is in support of the Michigan Film Industry Association (MIFIA) in its fundraising efforts. All proceeds are going to the advancement of the Multimedia Jobs Act to bring a competitive tax incentive program for film projects to our state.
