NIGHTMARE AT CAMP BLOODBATH - Short Film
Synopsis: After discovering their lodge totaled by a neighboring camp, two counselors are stalked and prayed upon by the local legend Terrance Fisher in his slapstick parody.
It’s hard to do a horror comedy parody right. One wouldn’t think so, since there are so many obvious tropes and stereotypes baked into all of the sub-genres. But balancing out the humor with a real affection for the films is tougher than most people realize. NIGHTMARE AT CAMP BLOODBATH, from writer/director Dylan Arnow, excels at capturing the look and feel of ‘80s slashers while brilliantly sending up some of their better known cliches.
